The original pattern for Crochet Santa called for Avril Chunky Knitting acrylic yarn and to make a Crochet Reindeer I've used Robin Chunky yarn as seen on the above picture. This type of yarn and color is perfect for cheerful, happy and traditional CROCHET CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS.
I've first published this crochet patterns around 3 years ago and this year I've decided to give them a little update. I wanted them to look a little bit more elegant and more shiny for people who prefer to keep their Christmas trees just in silver and gold color tones. To achieve that special look of a shiny crochet decorations I've used double strand of Drops Cotton Viscose yarn and I'm so pleased with the result.
